Many ancient indigenous cultures including the Egyptians, utilised and worked with sound. In the Denderah temple in Egypt, there are images of musical instruments carved in stone. Drums, harps, flutes, singers and Hathor the Goddess of music, love, and beauty. There are also images of the zodiac with the hieroglyph that translates to “The sky and its stars make music in you” The voice is a mirror of a person’s state of health and wellbeing, and a mirror of the cosmic blueprint at the moment of birth. A sonic holographic template.
The Greek visionaries Plato and Pythagoras, as well as the ancient Egyptians knew the science of the solar system, the stars and their celestial movements. They attributed specific musical tones to these celestial movements, and understood the mirroring of these planetary and celestial bodies, that indeed reverberated within us and still do. The movements of the celestial bodies create sound. These sounds are based upon geometric and mathematical ratios, distances and speeds. Musica Speculativa views music as a mirror of the cosmos, where the cosmic patterns are mirrored in life on earth in musical proportions and in our bodies. Sound is known as an organising principle of creation. These sonic frequencies are mirrored in the human energy systems and are expressed in the vocal patterns of the human voice.
“Without oxygen, water would not exist in the universe. Without water life on earth would not exist. Oxygen is created by nucleosynthesis in stars, which is an atomic, sonic based process. Therefore oxygen, water and life on earth owe their existence to sound.” John Stuart Reid. Home – Cymascope
